Senate Estimates Committee hearing – Martine commences with opening statement that the available records had been searched and the correspondence had not been found. Grech appears and raises alleged email from PMO re John Grant, however he concedes his 'recollection may be totally false or faulty.'

Terry Moran (Sect PM&C) asks his IT staff to undertake a thorough search of the email records of the department and the Prime Minister's office. The search turns up nothing.
